Services

Logbook Servicing

Whenever you purchase a new vehicle, the manufacturer provides you with a warranty that protects you from the cost of parts failures. This warranty is only valid, however, if you have your vehicle regularly serviced by a certified mechanic, who records and stamps these services in your vehicle’s logbook.

Here at Customer Sports and Restorations, our skilled mechanics are fully certified to provide logbook services for:

  • Petrol vehicles
  • Diesel vehicles

Roadworthies and Vehicle Inspections

If you’re selling or otherwise transferring ownership of a vehicle, you have to obtain a roadworthy certificate, which ensures the vehicle meets the legal safety standards to be driven on Victorian roads. If you have a vehicle that you need a certificate for, our team can perform the repairs necessary for you to pass your roadworthy inspection.

If you’re thinking about buying a secondhand vehicle, we would recommend bringing it in for a pre-purchase inspection- this way you can know exactly what it is you’re buying, and avoid any nasty surprises.

When you’re planning a long road trip, or camping trip, we would recommend organising a pre-trip inspection. This way you can discover any issues before they become serious problems, and enjoy your trip with peace of mind.

Here at Customer Sports and Restorations, we can help you with:

  • Roadworthy Repairs
  • Pre-Purchase Inspections
  • Pre-Trip Inspections

Brakes

Your brakes are the most important safety feature your vehicle has. While other safety systems, like airbags, reduce the severity of an accident, your brakes can also act preventatively, and the condition of your brakes often makes the difference between an accident and an emergency stop.

Your brakes also suffer an astonishing amount of wear. After all, they  routinely bring roughly a tonne of a weight to a complete stop from high speeds, multiple times a day. For this reason we agree with brake manufacturers that you should have your brakes checked at least once a year.

Here at Customer Sports and Restorations, our expert team can help you with:

  • Brake Pad & Disc Replacement
  • Brake Disc Machining
  • Brake Fluid Change & Bleed
  • Brake Hose Repairs & Replacement
  • Brake Restorations

Steering and Suspension

Faults and flaws in your steering and suspension affect handling and ride comfort, causing issues such as play in the steering wheel, body lean through corners, and vibrations at speed. Your suspension is also responsible for maximising the grip that your tyres exert on the road surface, so a poor suspension will also increase your stopping distance.

Here at Customer Sports and Restorations, our skilled technicians can help you with:

  • Wheel Alignments
  • Shocks/Springs
  • Wheel Balancing
  • Bushing Replacement
  • Power Steering Repairs/Replacement
  • Lift Kits and 4WD Upgrades

Exhaust Services

Everybody remembers their car needs petrol, but it’s easy to forget that your engine needs oxygen just as much as it needs petrol. Your vehicle’s exhaust system draws waste gases out of the engine bay, allowing fresh air to enter and power your engine. If you’re looking for the most bang for your buck in performance upgrades, an exhaust system upgrade is a great place to start.

Here at Customer Sports and Restorations, we can help you with:

  • Exhaust Repairs And Replacement
  • Exhaust Modifications And Upgrades

Air Conditioning

There’s not much worse than being stuck in traffic on a hot day with faulty air conditioning – don’t let this happen to you!

Your air conditioning is unique in that it degrades more from disuse than from use, as the rubber tubing and seals, which make up a lot of the AC system, dry up and crack when not in use, allowing the refrigerant gas to leak out and rob your system of its cooling power.

Here at Customer Sports and Restorations, we can fully repair your air conditioning system, starting by replacing broken condensers and compressors, then swapping out any cracked tubing and seals, and finally recharging your system with refrigerant once we’re certain its airtight.

Here at Customer Sports and Restorations, our expert team can help you with:
